She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin "Pomp" Phipps and Grace Phipps (Rogers); her son Glenn Brown; and her sisters, Eleanor Nutwell and Marie Hardesty.

She is survived by: her son Robert Brown of Deale; her grandchildren, Jeff Brown, Lesha Corbin, Kelly Brown and Megan Brown; and her great grandchildren, Kayleigh Brown, Chloe Corbin and Aubree Corbin.
