It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harriett Jane Beardmore of Deale, Maryland, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Merriman and Ruth Merriman (Goodwin); and her sister Gail Adams (Merriman). She is survived by: her husband Battalion Fire Chief; her sisters, Donna Merriman of Jefferson, MD and Jamie Behre of Arapahoe, NC; her children, Shelley Rusk (John) of Mooresville, NC, Jimmy Beardmore (Ruth) of Mooresville, NC and Fire Lieutenant; and her grandchildren, Aimee, Jake, Lucas and Nate. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, & great nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Colea Benevolent Fund in Rickie's memory. Checks should be made payable to Prince Georges County Professional Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation, Inc. with "Colea Benevolent Fund" in the memo.
