He is survived by: his children, Richard L. Hardesty, Jr. (Sylvia) of Arnold and Jennifer A. Passero (Nick) of Churchton; his grandsons, Brooks and Troy; and his friends, Doug and Robin Howard. He is also survived by his family, but also by the countless friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home (8325 Mt Harmony Ln, Owings, MD 20736).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Deale Volunteer Fire Department, an organocation that was an important part of Richard's life for many years.
