It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Warren Nicholson Sr. of Deale, Maryland, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heritage, Sr. and Mamie Louise Nicholson (Brown); his wife Mary Nicholson; and his siblings, Alice Smith, Sharon O'Day and George H. Nicholson, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Richard W. Nicholson, Jr. (Christina) of Chesapeake Beach, Beverly Terry (William) of Lothian, Brenda Deane of Chesapeake Beach and Stephen Nicholson, Sr. of Chesapeake Beach; his grandchildren, Richard "Nick" III, Jenna, Glen, Ryan, Shannon, Candice, Christa, Casey and Stephen Jr.; and his sister Betty Anderson. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
