Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Carol for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Carol’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her husband Starke Matthew Evans. She is survived by: her children, Starke Matthew Evans II (Tabetha Walls Evans) and Dana Michelle Evans (Trevor Crowley); her grandsons, Starke "Wilder" Evans and Preston "Shane" Evans; her siblings, Linda Hornick Nichols and David Hornick; and her pet Maggie Mae McCleery. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church (108 1st St, Denton, MD 21629). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
