She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Martin and Eunice Comstock Martin; her husband A. Dawson Howard; and her siblings, Tom Martin, Hugh Martin, Bob Martin, Sam Martin, Joe Martin, Nancy Martin, Marguerite Nason, Naomi Storey and Betty Musgrove.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Howard (Charlene) of Greensboro, Janet Howard of Denton, Mary Lou Cooper of Oxford, Linda Howard of Delmar and Valarie Brinsfield (John) of Vienna, MD.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
