She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Edward Mitchell and Kathleen Hadder Mitchell; her brother Herman Mitchell; and her nephew David Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Leonard F. Vogt of Denton; her children, Annette M. Speas (Bill) of Greensboro, MD and Michael L. Vogt (Jennifer Basil) of Denton; her siblings, Edward Mitchell (Dottie) of Willards, MD, Wayne Mitchell (Mary Jane) of Pocomoke, MD and Teresa Riggin (Raymond) of Snow Hill, MD; her grandchildren, Kyle Speas, Emily Speas and Garrett Vogt; and her friends, Connie Fletcher and Bette Shull.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (12 S 2nd St, Denton, MD 21629). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church (108 1st St, Denton, MD 21629).
If friends wish to send a memorial donation in memory of Mrs. Vogt, the family suggests sending them to Talbot Hospice, which was a great strength or them and who advocated for her comfort in her final days.
