Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joyce Louise Yeatman of Denton, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 89, on February 28, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Whitby, Sr. and Y. Louise Whitby; her husband Arthur Yeatman; her sons, David Yeatman and Douglas Yeatman; her grandsons, William Embrey and Wayne Embrey, Jr.; her great grandchild Maxwell Heckler; and her siblings, Buster Whitby and Gloria Waters.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Yeatman (Bev) of Denton, Carolyn Greaves (Wes) of Trappe, Yvonne Embrey (Wayne) of Millington and Wilma Yeatman of Cambridge; her siblings, Ray Whitby and Faith Dadds; and her grandchildren, Daniel Greaves, III, Michael Greaves, Chritopher Greaves, Casey Yeatman, Cory Leisner and Ryan Heckler. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home (200 S Harrison St, Easton, MD 21601). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the White Marsh Cemetery.
