He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen M. Wood and Rose M. Shortall Wood; his wife Betsy; his son Andrew Wood; and his sister Rose Marie Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Wood (Tracy) and Patricia Arevalo of Denton; his siblings, Stephen P. Wood (Lynn) of Sherwood, MD and Barbara Wood of Denton; his grandchildren, Shelby Wood, Jack Wood, Nicholas Wood, Luisa Arevalo, Aidan Barrett and Ava Barrett; and his nieces and nephews, Gwen Wood, Amy Litaker, Nora Moss, Thomas Alexander, Dale Adkins, Cindy Gaertner, Jeff Adkins, Thomas Adkins, David Wood, Diana Walker, Brian Wood, Amos Crosgrove, Katie Crosgrove, Jacob Crosgrove and Will Crosgrove.
