She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Jack Phillips and Clara Louise Cranfield; her husband W. Martin "Marty" Shaffer; and her daughter Dana Jo Shaffer. She is survived by: her son Dale W. Shaffer (Regina) of Denton; her son-in-law Christopher Felton of Denton; her siblings, Mark Cranfield (Louise) of Denton, Gary Cranfield (Terri O'Hare) of Dover, AR, Bob Phillips (Peggy) of Ocala, FL, Rebecca Campbell (Len) of Ocala, FL and Jane Wright of Talladega, AL; her grandchildren, Katie Knox (C. C. Capranica), Andy Knox (Jackie), Alyssa Farwell (Ben), Jordan Shaffer, Carissa Lynch and Zoe Breeding; and her great grandchildren, Parker Norfolk, Braylon Knox and Brettson Knox.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home (12 S 2nd St, Denton, MD 21629).
