We bid farewell to Wanda Gore Fangmeyer (Derwood, Maryland), born in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 10, 2025 at the age of 85. Wanda Gore touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Mac, Trink, Charles, Bill, John, Tommy Gore, Edie Cullum, Lena Ruth Brown and Mary Brown; her parents-in-law, Loretta and Albert Fangmeyer; and her son-in-law Paul Lang.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Fangmeyer (Bob); her sisters-in-law, Naomi Gore and Loretta Dustin; her children, Lynn Lang, Bobby Fangmeyer (Leigh), Bert Fangmeyer and Patrick Fangmeyer (Missy); and her grandchildren, Matthew Koert, Maggie Lang, Jack, Ryan, Jenna Fangmeyer, Sammie, Lily Fangmeyer, Owen, Bella and Faith Fangmeyer. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis in support of their outreach efforts to the local food pantry or the Haiti medical mission.
