He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Cheeves Jr. and Marian Cheeves; his sons, Kevin and Darryl Jr.; and his siblings, Dernice Atkins, April Cheeves and Louis Craig Cheeves.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Spriggs; his children, Tellisa (Jock), Lakisha, Mia and Kia (Mark); his stepdaughters, Alicia and Angela; his brother Ronald Cheeves; and his sibling's children, Kiona Graham (Michael) and Kyle Cheeves. He is also survived by his grandchildren and step-grandchildren; his great-granddaughter.
