She is survived by: her son James Douglas Godfrey; her stepchildren, Kathy, Karen, Alice Martin, Ricky and Andrew Martin; her grandchild Jamaal O. D. Golden; and her godson Christopher "Danny" Cook. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Paul Baptist Church (6419 Marlboro Pike, District Heights, MD 20747). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
