He is survived by: his wife Donna Higgs (Fryling); his sisters, Yvonne Higgs (Bonnie) and Lisa McCarty (Higgs); his brother-in-law Kevin McCarty Sr.; his daughter Nori Harris (Higgs); his son-in-law Colin Harris; his grandchildren, Tristan Harris, Trevor Harris and Trent Harris; and his great grandchild Addison Blaine Harris.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alan's name can be made to the North Point - Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department.
