She was predeceased by: her father Robert B. Wild; and her husband Wade D. Poteat. She is survived by: her mother Gloria B. Wild; her brother Michael J. Wild; her children, Gary M. Halstead and Lisa A. Burkindine; and her grandchildren, Jonathan C. Halstead, Eric R. Halstead, Carley M. Burkindine and Elijah J. Klein. She is also survived by extended family and close friends.
