He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rosalee V. Thompson; his children, Barbara A. Thompson Fisher (Dennis), Charles A. Thompson Jr. (Charlotte), James P. Thompson Sr. (Amy), Joyce E. Galatolo (Armando), Rosa Lee Thompson, Michael J. Thompson Sr., Cullea P. Thompson and Douglas E. Thompson Sr. (late Tamaria); and his siblings, James F. Might Sr. and Irma E. Bright. He was also cherished by 27 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
