Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Daniel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Catherine "Kitty" Sauer Carroll (Hellman); his children, Debbie Birch (Jim), Dave Carroll (Tracy) and Paul Sauer (Nina); and his grandchildren, Terra, Paul Jr., Christopher and Kyle. He was also cherished by his family, friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crescent Yacht Club (1840 Cape May Rd, Essex, MD 21221).
