He was predeceased by: his son Darryl Joseph Welsh. He is survived by: his wife Donna Welsh; his friends, Matthew, Mark, Wayne Welsh, George, Johnathan, Brian, Andrew Ganzzermiller, Karen Ganzzermiller-Zuromski, Henry, Rachel, Abigail Welsh, Shauna, Warren, Ethan, Lena Bullard, Ava, Cara and AJ Ganzzemiller; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Bruce Ganzzermiller (Phyllis) and Patricia Ganzzermiller.
