He was predeceased by: his brother Daniel Burnside; and his mother Mildred L.. He is survived by: his spouse Maylee Burnside; and his siblings, Linda Griest, Lisia Franze, Jeannette Burnside and Theodore Burnside Sr.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
