He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Edward Jr. (Sharon), David (Wendy), Stephen (Patricia) and Carol Gagen (Larry); his grandchildren, Edward III, Shawn (Nicole), Rebecca (Joe Voelpel), Danielle (Cade Sanger), Leslie Sult (Lucas), Ashley Driggers and Eric Driggers (Dawn); and his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Sophia, Harleigh, Brody and Asher. He is also survived by family and many loving friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk (7110 Sollers Point Rd, Dundalk, MD 21222). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk Starts (7110 Sollers Point Rd, Dundalk, MD 21222). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21222).
After his military service, he dedicated many years to Baltimore City as a fireman, where he made significant contributions to the safety and well-being of his community.
