He is survived by: his wife Carolyn DePasquale Maddox; his son Franklin Joseph Maddox, Jr.; his grandchildren, Samone Maddox, Kurt Maddox and Chad Harry; his great grandchildren, Brycen and Layne Maddox; and his siblings, William Maddox (Edna), Ivan Maddox (Cathlene), Doris Preston and Ray Maddox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
