He was predeceased by : his wife Emma West; his son Robert West; his granddaughter Melissa West; and his brothers, Howard and Paul West.

He is survived by : his niece Michele Bayes; and his siblings, Robert West, Lynn Carroll, Phillip West and Robin Fields.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk (7110 Sollers Point Rd, Dundalk, MD 21222). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224).
