She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard N. Carter and Madeline F. Carter; and her brother Howard F. Carter. She is survived by: her husband Philip R. Kyte; her daughters, Cheryl L. Smith (Gary) and Tanya L. Scott (Will); her grandchildren, Nicole L. McGeehan (Michael), Matthew R. Smith (Skye), Joshua M. Smith and Kaitlyn N. Scott (Nikki Harris); her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Ocean, Azalea and Nova; and her siblings, Marie C. Coxon, George R. Carter, Rosa M. McVey, Madeline M. Simms, Wayne W. Carter, Louise M. Burleson and Beverly A. Scheller. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
