He was predeceased by: his wife Irene M. Meyer. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Norfolk, Denise Meyer-Muendlein (Charles) and Phyllis Rich (Tom); his grandchildren, Hayley Muendlein (Wilson Connolly) and Jessica Ahrens (Adam); and his great grandchild Emiy Ahrens. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
