He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Slone; his children, Mary Ann Bennett (Judy Rutkiewic), Deborah Mitchell (William), Janet Jewell (Charles), John Slone Jr. (Kimberly) and Leisa Campbell (Michael); his grandchildren, William Mitchell III, Natalie Russell (Brendan), Charles Jewell III (Michelle), Joshua Jewell (Julie), Courtney Bratt (Dan), Ryan Patrick Slone, Kaitlyn Slone, Keira Slone, Sean Cusic, Jason Slone (Faith) and Megan See (James); his great grandchildren, Kelly Russell, Graham Russell, Alyssa Jewell, Kaiden Jewell, Matthew Jewell, Logan Jewell, Carter Jewell, Tucker Jewell, Nolan Bratt, Madison Slone and Grace Slone; and his siblings, Ralph Slone (Jane), Phillip Slone (Billie Jean), Dewey Slone, Dorothy Jones, Rosetta Jordan, Judi Cole and Sarah Staats Slone. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends.
