He was predeceased by: his wife Zoe Maltas; his parents, Dr. Vassilios Maltas and Evanthia Maltas; and his siblings, Dr. Nick Maltas, Kostatinos Maltas, Michael Maltas and Kalliopi Kardasis (Beba).
He is survived by: his children, Vassilios "Bill" Maltas (Gina), Kalliopi Lintzeris (George), Evanthia Maltas-Gross (Jeff) and Maria Cokinos (Jimmy); and his granddaughters, Eleni Maltas, Zoe Lintzeris and Stephanie Lintzeris.
