He is survived by: his girlfriend Ginger Childress; his children, Patricia Atkinson (Laird), Karen Atkinson-Tull (Marc), Thomas Atkinson (Rossini) and Holly Atkinson (Dave); his siblings, Mary Kathleen Higgins, Nancy Conklin, Mary Carol "Harkie" Agee, John E. Atkinson (Joan) and Mary Jean Rafferty (Paul); and his grandchildren, Bradley Tull (Ashley), Brenna Tull and Hanna Atkinson. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
