He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Falkenstein and Mary E. Falkenstein; and his siblings, Andrew H. Falkenstein, Robert A. Falkenstein, William R. Falkenstein, Gertrude M. Boothe and Barbara A. Bridges.

He is survived by: his wife Roxann Jenny Falkenstein; and his siblings, John W. Falkenstein (Josephine), Ida E. Richards, Mary E. Richards and Catherine V. Lotterer (Edmund). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
