He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Knoerlein; his sons, Norman Jr. and Chris; his daughter-in-law Amy; his grandson William Knoerlein; and his siblings, Bill Knoerlein, Elizabeth Lloyd (William), Robert Knoerlein (Jackie), Susan Lawler (Chris), Celeste Green and JoAnn Inskeep. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
