He was predeceased by: his son Robert C. Smith, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Smith; and his children, Tracey Halsch (Paul), William McMillion (Betsy), Monica Brown (Ed) and Robyn Citterman (Gary). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
