He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fotini Kotanidis and Efstathios Kotanidis; his son Efstathios Kotanidis; his grandson Christos Kotanidis; his children, Evangelia Karyliofilis, Efsymeli (Lazaros Pavlidis) and Christos (Maria Kotanidis); his grandchildren, Nitza (Jonny), Giorgos (Demetra), Pantelis, Elisabet, Sophia, Michaela, George, Themis and Yiannis; his great grandchild Yiannis; and his son-in-law Vasilis.
