She was predeceased by: her husband David Shifflett; her parents, Austin Martin and Esther Martin Jr.; and her siblings, Jerry and Richard Martin.
She is survived by: her daughter Heather Lawson Rinker (John II); her grandchildren, Alexis Kline (Jason Walker) and John Rinker III; her great grandchild Lyla Walker; and her boyfriend Mike Bruns.
