With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Jackson Brown Jr. of Dunkirk, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Brown, Sr. and Mildred Brown (Ingram); and his brothers, Albert "Bucky" Brown and Robin Brown. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Brown; his children, Lauren Weems (Dale), Andrew Brown III (Kitti), Rebecca Petricoin (Chip), Pam Frizzell (Don) and Tracey Williams (Shayne); his grandchildren, Caitlin, Kayla, Frank, Jack IV, Camryn, Josh, Claire and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Andrew V, Penelope and James; and his sister Ann-Marie Brown Thompson (David).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calvert High School (520 Fox Run Blvd, Prince Frederick, MD 20678).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Jack's memory to the Humane Society of Calvert County, Hospice of the Chesapeake, or to Optimist Club of Calvert, Jack Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund.
