Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George William III of Dunkirk, Maryland, born in Daytona Beach, Florida, who passed away at the age of 78, on October 31, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, George William, Jr. and Mary Maxwell "Mary Mac" Owings; and his brother Claude Insley Owings II. He is survived by: his son George William Owings IV; his grandsons, Jackson William and Emerson Patrick; his great grandchildren, Michael Holzbeierlein (Robin), Angela Bakka (Scott), Theresa Shafer (Joshua) and Joseph Chucci; and his cousin Kitty Beck Wilson (Brian O'Donnell). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
