She is survived by: her daughter Laurie Trott Schmeiser (Harold) of Dunkirk; her grandchildren, Derek H. Trott (Victoria), Kaitlyn, Alec and Lindsey Schmeiser; her great grandchild Gwendolyn A. Trott; and her grandchildren-in-law, Allison and Trey Como.

“Laurie & family, I grieve with you over the loss of cousin Laura Virginia. I so enjoyed talking on the phone with her to catch up on her life & yours. She was especially dear to my mother, Marjorie Sansbury Turner, her 1st cousin. They had long phone conversations after we moved to FL; before this they would go dancing together in the Annapolis area. Mom said what a "true lady" she was. (Her ruffles, her speech, etc.) How they laughed about their "Sansbury walk!" Love, Robin Milbourne Coffman”
