She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edwin Stone and Frances Marie Stone (Dinwiddie); and her grandson Jacob. She is survived by: her former husband Charles Thomas Howes Jr.; her husband Chuck; her children, Tommy (Heather) of Dunkirk and Carolyn of Chapel Hill, NC; her sisters, Donna Jean Tessier and Beth Stone Benton; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Shelby, Gabrielle, Leyna, Halle and Silas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Owings (8325 Mt Harmony Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at the Smithville United Methodist Church Cemetery (3005 Ferry Landing Rd, Dunkirk, MD 20754).
