He is survived by: his children, Dennis Hayden of Dunkirk and Cindy Hardesty (Maurice) of Owings; his grandchildren, Tabitha Hindman (Sam), Timothy Thurman, Joshua Dellinger, Beau and David Hardesty; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Olivia Hindman and Freya Whitlock-Thurman.
