He was predeceased by : his parents, A. Clair Davie and Elizabeth Davie (McCracken) of Nanty Glo, PA; and his aunt Dorothy McCracken. He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Davie (Gaulden); his children, William Clair Davie, Jr. (Heather) of La Plata, MD and Debra Lynn Miller (Cory) of Philipsburg, PA; and his grandchildren, Emma and Ryan Davie.

In lieu of flowers, donations in William's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or Calvert County Hospice (calverthospice.org).
