She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart Wallace and Claudye Phillips Wallace of Fishing Creek, MD.; her husband Ronald "Buck" Hurley; and her siblings, Louise Newmeyer, Hobart Wallace Jr. and Gretha Tollenger.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Schuyler (Larry) of Easton, MD and Cindy Matthews (Eddie) of Trappe, MD; her granddaughter Isabelle Matthews; and her sister Phyllis Simmons.
