We announce the death of Bessie Haga of Easton, Maryland, who passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 106. Bessie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Olinger and Gracie Glenn Olinger (Orr); her husband Colonel Vance Haga, Sr.; and her siblings, George "Sammy" Olinger, Jr., Carson Olinger, William Olinger, Doris Beech, Irene Pope, Louise Stokesbury, Polly Morris, Ruby Whitely and Peggy Olinger.
She is survived by: her children, C. Vance and Rebecca; and her grandchildren, Barbara, Kelly, Jeffrey, Joel, Nathan, Rachel, Matthew and Michael. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren and two on the way; and many extended family members and dear friends.
