She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Parker, Sr. and Blanche Kinnamon Callahan; her grandson Phillip D. Valliant; and her half-brothers, Charles Robert Perkins, Sr. and Edward Terry Perkins.

She is survived by : her sons, Michael C. Valliant (Anna Marie) of Wye Mills and David P. Valliant (Mary) of Oxford; her brother J. Parker Callahan, Jr. of Wye Mills; and her grandson Parker T. Valliant (Gigi) of Oxford.
