She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rathell and Louise Rathell; her spouse Thomas E. Mitchell; and her siblings, Charles, Lee Rathell and Katherine "Kitty" Rathell.

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon M. Poore (Larry) of St. Michaels; and her grandsons, Thomas Kyle Poore (Meagan), Charles Joshua Poore (Sierra), Charlie, Brody, Gabe and Reed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bryan Brothers Foundation, P.O. Box 973 of Easton, MD 21601.
