He was predeceased by: his father William P. Canty. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Ann Canty; his sister Michele Lyons Gant; his brother-in-law Kurt Patrick Gant; his nieces, Ashley and Kendall Gant; and his daughters, Allison Brenton, Gywnn and Mara Eber.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home (200 S Harrison St, Easton, MD 21601). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (7215 Ocean Gateway, Easton, MD 21601). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (11365 Ocean Gateway, Easton, MD 21601).
