Clarissa Townsend Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mnason W. Townsend, Sr. and Dorothy Foster Townsend of Preston; and her sisters, Elaine Townsend and Frances Townsend Coleman. She is survived by: her children, Norman Townsend (Shawan), Kirsten Jenkins, Denise Osciak (Paul) and Dynesha Thompson (Diquon); her grandchildren, Dennis Johnson (Brittney), David Johnson, Deanna Calloway, Ty'Erah Watkins, Jaylon Hudkins, Norman Townsend, Jr., Isaiah Townsend, Ray Pete, IV, Rae'li Pete and Layla Townsend; her great grandchildren, Landyn Bullock, Lauryn Bullock, Carter Johnson, Julian Johnson, Savannah Johnson and Jace Johnson; and her siblings, Greta T. Davis, Diane T. Brice, Brenda Townsend-Milton, Angela Townsend-Williams (Herman Williams, III), Mnason L. Townsend and Wendell "Bud" Townsend. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of beloved friends.
Her life after prolonged battles with COVID, pneumonia, and leukemia became her testimony.
