She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Kemp Cathcart and Catherine Ortel Cathcart; her husband Schuyler L Mellor; and her sisters, Carolyn McCaffrey, Emily Robishaw, Ruth Johnson and Helen Leopold.
She is survived by: her children, Susie Jones and Peter Mellor (Jackie) of Easton, MD; her stepchildren, Jenny Mellor of Towson, MD, Missy Mellor of New York and Jim Mellor (Callie) of Peru; her grandchildren, Matthew (Molly), Haley (Devin), Emily (Robbie), Maxwell, Zachary, Bradley, Kati and Duncan; and her great grandchildren, Kendal, Adalyn, Blakelyn, Bo, Owen and Cade.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oxford Cemetery (26333 Presquile Dr S, Easton, MD 21601).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Talbot Hospice in Easton MD.
