He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Leo Weissert, Sr. and Naomi Kaltreider Weissert; his daughter Isa; and his brother Michael Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gail J. Chalupa Weissert; his children, Jonathan and Lindsey; his son-in-law Daniel; and his grandson Leo.
