She is survived by: her children, Raymond Potter, Charles Potter (Easton, MD), Derrick Potter (Kiya) of Middleton, DE and Angela Potter-Bordley (Easton, MD); her stepson Larry Thomas (Easton, MD); her grandchildren, Ty, Brandon, Shavona, Raymond II, Anthony, Ajena, Cyia, Annanda, Diamond and Kendall; her stepgrandchildren, Latoya Brooks, Aishia Handy and Larry D Thomas Jr.; her siblings, Cynthia James (Cambridge, MD), Mary Johns (Easton, MD), Stephanie Warwick (Earl Sr) of New Castle, DE, Charles Potter 3rd (Mary) of Hephzibah, GA and Melvin Potter Sr. (Ivytown, MD); her sister-in-law Adella Warner (Easton, MD); her aunt Hattie Newbill of Carrboro, NC; her uncles, Raymond Gardner and Dr. Hillard Gardener; her daughters, Renee Wilson, Yvonne Freeman, Patricia Hayman, Lynette Lively and Lisa Wilson; her friends, Ann Wayman and Debbie Murray; her husband Rodney; and her siblings, Ernest Potter (Joe), Lillian "Buckle" Copper, Harry Raymond Potter and Mary Magelene. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 6 step great-grandchildren, 4 step great-great grandchildren.

Irene Elizabeth Potter Warner, lovingly known by family and friends as "Betty" went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Talbot Hospice Foundation.
