He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne Malashuk Avey. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Avey (Easton, MD), Lisa Murphy of Cherry Hill, NJ and Sandy Everett of Fawn Grove, PA; and his granddaughter Erin (Devin) Blackburn. He is also survived by 3 great grandsons.
