With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nellie Estella Sullivan of Easton, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2025 at the age of 96. As Nellie Estella departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Nellie Estella may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Nellie Estella leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Estelle Wilson (Roberts) and Samuel Wilson; and her husband Reginald "Buster" Sullivan. She is survived by: her children, Reginald Sullivan, Carlette Sullivan (Valtine) of Easton, MD, Angela'Angie'Sullivan of Hurlock, MD, Priscilla Hill and Victoria Sullivan of Easton, MD; her brothers, Louis Wilson (Sondra), Percy Wilson (Vivian) of Pennsylvania and Paul Wilson (Mary) of Tacoma, Washington; and her grandson Vincent Sullivan. She is also survived by grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bennie Smith Funeral Home - Easton (426 E Dover St, Easton, MD 21601). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Richards Memorial Park (318 Floyd Ln, Easton, MD 21601).
