He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement W. Mackie and Melissa Lungren Mackie; his sister Kay Beaudett; his son-in-law Dennis O'Connor; and his niece Morgan Beaudett.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Mackie of Parkville, MD, Lisa Mackie of Easton, MD, Carolyn Rhegness (Jim) and Susan Mackie of Havertown, PA; his grandchildren, Meghan Roughton (Harrison), Lauren Rhegness, Kendra O'Connor and Eamon O'Connor; his great grandchild Reagan Roughton; and his nephews, Park Beaudett (Lora) and David Beaudett.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hicks Home For Funerals (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Sharp's Cemetery (226 Lewisville Rd, Elkton, MD 21921).
